As part of a public relations team, the account manager role requires collaboration with others across the agency. Qualified candidates will possess excellent writing, media relations and social media skills with a passion for public relations and challenging content. With the ability to connect with people, meet multiple timelines and work in a fast paced environment, the ideal candidate will be highly motivated and organized


  • Develop/write/pitch/distribute a variety of PR materials, including press releases, editorial pitches and social media content
  • Bring new ideas to the table
  • Manage day-to-day account activities, including research, reports, planning, implementation and evaluation of public relations activities, while paying careful attention to budgets, resources, deadlines and results
  • Manage client and editor relationships
  • Assist with new business proposals
  • Analyze social media data

Desired Skills and Experience

  • A minimum of 2 years in a PR agency environment
  • Bachelors Degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications or related field
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of current social media platforms
  • Proactive attitude and approach
  • Ability to work additional hours as needed
  • Willingness and ability to travel occasionally
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
