A speakers bureau is a database of information outlining potential speaking opportunities at various conferences. The intent is to identify forums that reach a company’s target audience and potential influencers, while also aligning with the organization’s business objectives and drivers. A speakers bureau database often includes the title of the event, important dates, location, description, call for speaking proposals deadlines and exhibiting information. By pursuing these opportunities, companies are able to place subject matter experts at the podium to establish third-party credibility, increase standing as a thought leader and engage with key constituents within their respective industry.
